How 2 Baba, Tiwa Savage, shut down Benin City, Edo state for “I Go Dye” Standing show

Today April 22 2022 was billed to be a great show and against all odds that lived up to its expectations. Despite the fact that there was a heavy downpour of rain that truobled the Easter Sunday celebration in Benin City, Edo State, the I Go Dye Standing show tagged “More than a Legend” went on in all its glory and magnificence before it's been sold out audience.

It was a night of great entrances, splendid performances and enthralling exhilaration in a charged atmosphere of intense familiarity. I Go Dye set the tone for the night, making his entrance like an English Knight in Shining armour with 50 royal reel brass men official, what could be a hero’s welcome to the blaring of multitudes of trumpets, which gave the crowd the hint of what to come

Viola! 2Baba and Tiwa Savage were unleashed. The musicians took to stage at different times to perform with their magical musical bands which set the already charged atmosphere on fire. Hits after hits, while they both took the crowd on a musical journey, bringing back sparkling memories and sensibilities to a delightful one.

Furthermore, while I Go Dye led the comedy onslaught that left many outstretched on their backs and clutching their tummies, Okey Bakassi, Maleke and others proved to be soothing placebos that left the audience truly entertained.

"I Go Dye" poured on his Instagram page praising 'Okeybassi', as a good veteran who built the comedy industry, which most people enjoy and excitedly go to Benin to flex there, he added that @okeybassi can easily be identified through his motivating words, saying Thanks bro for the motivation.

I Go Save who arrange proceedings of the night as the host, was a consummate conductor who weaved the night of comedy and music into a symphony of harmony that underscored the success of the show.

“I Go Dye Standing: More than a Legend” is a special occasion and thus rightly tagged as it marks the 27th year of Francis Agoda a.k.a I Go Dye on stage.
